BHPI Did it once again... "JAVADA Grand winner"
On February 08, 2007, two of our best welders, Larry Raquinio and Jerica Añora, scored a virtual grand slam in the 3rd Skills Evaluation Trial and Demonstration on Pipe Welding Competition. The competition was sponsored by the Japan Vocational Ability Development Association (JAVADA) and it was held at the BFI – Technical Training Center, Litton Mills Compound in Rosario, Pasig City.
Larry emerged as the champion and Jerica placed second in the said competition. They were chosen by Messrs. Lito Estacio and Hiromi Shimose together with Odie Abanes, respectively.
For bringing honor and prestige to all of us in BHPI, a Testimonial Dinner was tendered in their honor on February 16, 2007 at the Days Hotel in Batangas City. During the event, they were awarded the “DANGAL NG BHPI” plaque and the “BHK MEDAL OF EXCELLENCE”.
