HEAT RECOVERY STEAM GENERATOR

          The lastest major activity at BHPI shops is the manufacture of finned tubes and assembly of same into tube bundles for installation as main component of Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSG). The main application of HRSG is for the recovery of heat from Gas Turbine exhaust to generate steam in a Combined Cycle Power Plant. Combined Cycle Power Plants are in demand worldwide because it is environmentally friendly and has high thermal efficiency. Also, HRSG can be shop-assembled, skid-mounted, and then shipped resulting into a relatively short construction time.
